2019 STAR Scholar Ne’Asha Griffin

STG would like to congratulate Ms. Ne’Asha Griffin on being our 2019 scholarship winner.  This scholarship focusses on Guns Down Books Up! In a time when so many African American youth are loosing their lives to gun violence.  STG is proud to support academic scholars who turn their life experiences into areas to make change happen in their community.

Ms. Ne’Asha Griffin is the granddaughter of Ms. Birdell Beeks who this scholarship is named after.  Ne’Asha has made a decision to turn the tragedy  of loosing her grandmother into a passion for helping other children as a mental health professional. She is currently a sophomore majoring in Psychology and minoring in Business at Bethune Cookman University.  Ne’Asha we are so proud of you and we look forward to seeing you shine.  Congratulations!
